Primary 7 Residential trip to Loch Insh
Our Primary 7 Pupils set off on Monday morning to Loch Inch for their residential activity week trip. The weather hasn’t been the kindest to them but Mrs. MacIver and Mrs. McNair took some better weather with them today when they went to see how they were getting on. Here are a selection of photos from today’s activities….it doesn’t look as though their fun is being hampered by the cold and the rain.
2014-15 School Achievement Assembly
We would like to congratulate all our pupils and staff on their successes and achievements in and out of school over the past year. This morning’s assembly showed us some of the highlights of what we have done and why we should all be proud of ourselves.
This year’s special awards went to the following:

Jaffrey won the inter-house competition and this was collected by Hannah Shearer (captain) and Annabelle Wilson-Davies (vice captain)

Winners of inter-house sports award is Edmond, cup collected by house captain Thomas Bourke and vice captain Peter Spiteri.
Well done to all our pupils on your achievements, huge thanks to staff and parents for your support throughout the year and enjoy a well earned summer break.
See you in August for another year of success stories.
Scottish Government Childcare Survey – for parents of 3 and 4 year old children
The Scottish Government has proposed to increase the provision of free childcare to 1140 hours per year for children who are 3 or 4 years old, as well as for vulnerable 2 year olds who are eligible for the 600 hours free entitlement through the Children & Young People’s Act 2014.
With this in mind we are conducting a survey exploring how parents would wish to use this increase. The results of this survey will help guide policy on early years child care provision. In order for the survey to produce representative results it is important that we reach as many parents of 3 or 4 year old children from as wide a variety of back grounds as possible, this includes those who do not currently use free child-care provision.
The survey is available at the following link.
