This November we are planting 8 different kinds of trees (Aspen, Bird cherry, Crab apple, Cracks willow, Field maple, Sessile oak, Small-leaved lime and Wych elm) in the playground to increase biodiversity. We are getting them at the start of November. They will be at the back of the playground beside the rainbow obstacle course.
We want children to know about the local trees so we are going to put information boards at the trees.
If there are any parents who want to help plant the trees please phone the office and let us know.
We are very excited about planting our trees and giving nature a home.
During Health Week we had a whole school competition to turn vegetables into special creations. Please have a look at all the fantastic designs and ideas. Winners will be announced at assembly on Thursday.
